What Auspice is

Auspice (青鸾信) computes a BaZi (Four Pillars) chart from the birth details you provide, using fixed, published conventions, and offers AI-assisted interpretation and conversation ("Xuanyuan"). It is a cultural and self-reflection tool offered for personal, non-commercial use.

What Auspice is not

Readings and conversations are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or investment advice, and are not predictions or guarantees about your life. Do not rely on them for decisions in those areas; consult a qualified professional instead. You keep your own judgment and remain responsible for your choices.

Your account

Sign-in is passwordless: we email a one-time link to the address you provide. You are responsible for the security of that email account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the service.

Purchases

The full reading is a one-time purchase, and the conversation subscription renews monthly until cancelled. All payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s hosted checkout — we never see or store your card details on this site. Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency indicated at checkout.

Refunds and cancellation

The full reading carries a 7-day, no-questions refund: email us within 7 days of purchase and we refund in full. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime and remain active until the end of the paid period. Details are on the Refunds page.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse, probe, or disrupt the service, resell its output at scale, or use it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do. You may not use the service to generate readings for third parties as a commercial offering without our written consent.

Your content and our service

Your birth details, chart, and conversations remain yours; we use them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy. The software, design, and written conventions of Auspice remain ours. We may update or discontinue features; if we discontinue a paid feature you purchased, we will refund the unexpired value.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. If we make material changes to these terms, we will note the change on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
