The connector keeps nothing.

In one line

The Auspice BaZi connector (auspiceoracle.com/mcp/bazi) is stateless. It computes a chart from the birth details you give it, returns the result to your assistant, and keeps nothing — no database write, no log of your birth details, no account, no profile. Closing the conversation ends it. This page is separate from our main privacy policy because the connector stores nothing the main policy describes.

What the connector receives

Only the arguments your assistant sends with a tool call. Every tool takes the same birth fields; cast_chart additionally takes gender, and compose_sketch additionally takes three short texts your assistant wrote.

year, month, day

Birth date, Gregorian.

hour, minute

Recorded wall-clock time of birth, 24-hour.

timeZone

IANA time zone of the birthplace, e.g. Asia/Shanghai.

longitude

Birthplace longitude in degrees. Used for the true solar time correction.

lang

Output language, 'en' or 'zh'.

gender

'male' or 'female' — cast_chart only. It sets the direction luck cycles are counted in: a charting convention of the method, not a statement about your identity, and it is used for nothing else.

image, beneath, practice

compose_sketch only: the three short passages your assistant wrote about your chart, sent back so the server can frame them into the finished sheet.

We do not ask for your name, email, birthplace name, or any account identifier, and the tools have no field to put them in. What your assistant sends is governed by the assistant’s own privacy policy, not ours.

What the connector returns — the reading itself

All of it is computed from the birth details above; none of it is looked up about you. It is returned both as formatted text and, in parallel, as structured JSON under the same names.

pillars.{year,month,day,hour}

Each pillar’s stem-branch pair, its hidden stems, and its Na Yin in Chinese and English. Nested one level.

dayMaster

Your day stem, its pinyin, its five-element, and the fixed emoji, image and motto we attach to that stem. Nested one level.

season

The season of the month branch — a lookup from the chart, not from your location.

lunarDate

The birth date in the lunar calendar.

castFrom

The true-solar-time instant the chart was cast from.

solarCorrection

The correction applied to your recorded time, broken into DST, longitude and equation-of-time minutes, plus how close the result sits to an hour boundary and whether the clock time you gave existed at all that day. Nested two levels.

naiveComparison

The same chart cast without the solar correction, and which pillars it would get wrong. Nested two levels.

luckCycles

The age the luck cycles start and the list of cycles with their ages and years. Derived from birth date and gender. Nested two levels.

fullReadingUrl

A link back to the site. See below — it carries your birth details.

sheet

compose_sketch only: the finished sketch, which contains the three passages your assistant wrote.

What the connector returns for display only

MCP lets a server attach fields your assistant does not read, used solely to draw the card you see (in clients that render cards). We list them because they are still data leaving the server. There is no debug, diagnostic, telemetry or tracking field in this channel, and nothing here that is not on this list.

Which language to draw the card in.

Your recorded time and zone, so the card can draw the correction timeline (07:20 → 06:20 → 06:09). The date, longitude and gender are not included.

pinyin

A fixed pronunciation table for the sixty stems and branches. The same for everyone; nothing about you.

The link back to the site

The reading ends with a link to auspiceoracle.com/*/chart. So the chart form arrives pre-filled — and shows the same numbers you just read, rather than making you re-enter everything — that link carries your birth date, time, time zone, longitude and, for cast_chart, gender in its query string, along with via=mcp and utm_source=bazi-mcp, which tell us only that a visitor arrived from the connector. A link is a link: nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to open it, and following it makes you a visitor to the website, where our main privacy policy applies. Because those details sit in the URL, they may appear in your browser history. If you would rather not have that, open auspiceoracle.com/en/chart directly and type them in.

What we store: nothing

The connector holds no database, writes no record, and keeps no session between calls. Your birth details exist in server memory for the milliseconds it takes to compute the chart and are gone when the response is sent. We do not log tool arguments. We do not build a profile, and there is nothing for you to delete here because there is nothing retained. Ordinary web-server request logs record the fact that a request arrived and its origin, for operating the service; they do not contain tool arguments.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or share connector data — there is none to sell. No advertising network, data broker, or analytics vendor receives anything from this endpoint. The connector makes no outbound calls: the chart is computed locally by our own engine, with no third-party service and no AI model involved. The personality sketch is written by your assistant, not by us.

Auspice BaZi is a cultural tool for reflection. It is not medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice, and it makes no predictions about events. Please do not put medical, financial-account, or identity-document details into a conversation with it; the tools have no use for them.
