什么是八字（BaZi）？
BaZi, or the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a classical Chinese metaphysical system that maps your birth year, month, day, and hour into eight characters (八字) — each representing a Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch — to reveal your elemental makeup, personality, and life cycles.
八字排盘是如何运作的？
Chart casting converts your exact birth date, time, and place into four pillars (year, month, day, hour). Each pillar contains a Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch. Fixed rules compute the pillars, time correction, Five Elements distribution, Day Master, and ten-year luck cycles. 八字算是「中国占星」吗？
Yes — BaZi is the birth-chart branch of Chinese astrology. What most English readers mean by "Chinese astrology" is the twelve animal signs, which are one character of the eight: the branch of the year pillar alone. BaZi reads all four pillars — year, month, day, and hour — so it distinguishes people born in the same animal year.
八字和星座运势是一回事吗？
No. BaZi is a system of Five Elements dynamics, not sun signs. Both use birth data, but BaZi analyses the interplay of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth in your chart — and their cycles over time — rather than planetary positions. It is closer to a personal constitution analysis than a horoscope, and it is a separate tradition from Western astrology: a claim in one neither confirms nor refutes a claim in the other.
什么是五行？
The Five Elements — Metal (金), Wood (木), Water (水), Fire (火), and Earth (土) — are the fundamental forces in Chinese metaphysics. They interact through generating (生) and controlling (克) cycles. Your BaZi chart reveals which elements dominate your constitution and how they shift across your life.
AI 八字解读有多准确？
The chart uses fixed rules; Xuanyuan does not invent or alter the chart facts. But BaZi interpretation is not a scientific measurement or a prediction guarantee. Treat the reading as a structured perspective for reflection, and keep your own judgment and choices in the foreground.
能让 ChatGPT 帮我排八字吗？
Not reliably. Casting a chart is arithmetic — the exact moment of a solar term, a longitude and equation-of-time correction, historical time-zone rules — and a language model asked to do it returns eight plausible characters with no sign when they are wrong. Cast the chart with a calculator that computes it and shows its working, then let a model talk about the result.
